By downloading, installing, or using AppShots (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and AppShots ("we," "our," or "us").
AppShots is a mobile application that allows users to design and create professional App Store screenshots. The App provides tools including a visual editor, templates, device frames, text formatting, image editing, and export functionality.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Certain features of the App may require you to have an Apple ID and an active App Store account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it.
AppShots offers the following subscription options:
The App offers limited functionality for free, including up to 3 projects, access to all templates, full editor access, and standard export.
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to the next billing cycle after notice.
You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or import into the App, including screenshots, images, text, and design projects. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that:
We do not access, view, or use your project content. Your data is stored locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud account.
The App, including its design, code, features, templates, icons, and branding, is owned by AppShots and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
Templates provided within the App are licensed for use in creating App Store screenshots. You may use the output (exported screenshots) for any lawful commercial or personal purpose.
You agree not to:
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppShots shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use or inability to use the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AppShots, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability shall survive termination.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
